Posted by: kimsanders  27/01/2009 @ 12:06
Subject: Clubs

Whether you're looking forward to Valentines Day or not, it's coming. And this year the gods have seen fit to make it land on a Saturday. In some ways this is a good thing. Because it's a weekend lots of people, couples or otherwise, will be out simply because that's the great British tradition. However, there is a downside. If you are single and you choose to spend Valentines Day at Liverpool clubs you could find yourself receiving some unwanted attention. Valentines Day makes everyone amorous, whether you want it or not.

If you are single and are actively seeking out 'pulling potential' you could do worse …

Pedal It Pink Liverpool

Posted by: kimsanders  02/01/2009 @ 13:08
Subject: General

At this time of year I imagine that lots of you, like me, are planning to get a bit exercise, burn off some of those festive calories and slimdown for summer (bikini season comes quicker than Christmas - that's a fact). But this year there may be even more reason for the ladies of Liverpool to get in shape.

The Breast Cancer Campaign is launching Pedal It Pink Liverpool, a cycling event to raise money for the charity. It takes place in Sefton Park on Sunday, April 19 (so there's plenty of time to get fit). If you're wobbly on two wheels you don't have to worry about the traffic as the Pedal It Pink Liverpool is completely enclosed. Sorry novices, there's no excuse!

Tea Tasting Masterclass at Leaf Tea Bar

Posted by: kimsanders  08/01/2009 @ 17:50
Subject: Pubs & Bars

Many a glum, …

Valentines Day at Liverpool Restaurants

Posted by: kimsanders  12/01/2009 @ 13:28
Subject: Restaurants

Valentines Day always seems to bring on a fit of the screaming meemies in men. Most claim they won't take part because it's commercial. What a load of crap. What about Christmas, birthdays and St Father's Day? I've yet to come across a man willing to surrender his celebrations of these events because they're 'commercial'.

Men, in short, you have no excuse, especially considering that on Valentines Day Liverpool restaurants help make dining out more than just a night off from cooking.  And if you're worried about spending all your savings, there are plenty of options for Valentines Day in Liverpool restaurants which won't make you wish you were dining alone.
