The ViewLiverpool Review
Mood is a superclub in the heart of Liverpool. It's a guaranteed crowd pleaser as it plays everything from pop, RnB, hip hop and dance, sometimes all on the same night. For hardcore clubber this is the place to head.
The Venue
Mood is just off Bold Street surrounded by many other bars and clubs. As it's in such a prime spot Saturday nights often attract huge crowds who line-up outside eager to shake their booty.
It's a large, three-floor building and each section plays a different music genre, so everyone is guaranteed to find something to suit their tastes.
There's also a large smoking section with chairs and tables at the back of the club, as well as huge pebble seating areas which often have people lounging about taking a break from the dancefloor.
The People
If you’re looking for a loud, crazy night then Mood is the best place to find it. Everyone is up for a good time, the dancefloor gets crowded and the DJs can easily get the hordes to play along with their witty banter.
It's the sort of place which is so unpretentious you can't help but feel at ease while letting your hair down. Students and under-25s are the regulars and Mood has an energetic and high spirited vibe.
Even the bar staff are all smiles, despite the fact that it can get very busy and you should expect to wait for drinks on popular nights.
The Drink
Draught lagers include Fosters and Kronenbourg. In bottles there is Corona, Heineken, Peroni, Budweiser and they range from £3.50 to £3.80. Bottles of alcopops are also around £3.50 to £3.80. They also stock a lot of shots such as sambuca and sourz which go from £1 to £2 each.
The Last Word
Mood is the place to be for a night you won’t forget and the atmosphere is so infectious you’ll be merrily dancing away with the rest of the crowd to cheesy pop, hip hop, dance…or all three!
