I've been to this bar many times before but it is getting ready for a update. The toilets are terrible. We went in early at 8PM and the smell of stale urine in the ladies toilets was overpowering. There was no tissue in the cubicles even at this early time. The hand washing area is shared with the male toilets and all the sinks are blocked and swimming with dirty water. Really puts you off eating there as its so dirty. Wont be going back in a hurry.

Physically removing a party of people because one happened to talk seems to be a theme. I have never been so aggressively dragged out of a venue that I paid £18 to get in. I would adivise that you do not order interval drinks, as if you happen to speak, you will not have the opportunity to drink your overpriced drink. I would have been more annoyed at this disgusting behaviour if the comedy was any good.... It wasn't. It doesn't sound like it improved when a nice old lady and her daughter were asked to leave during the second act. They looked sweet and innocent, must've been some pretty wicked hecklers....

This is by far the worst comedy club I have ever been to! I went there with a group of my female and male friends and after the first act we were physically removed from the venue! The explanation that was given to us by the heavy handed door staff was that the manageress had said that we were talking! We reported the incident to the police who went into the venue, looked at their CCTV and noticed that we hadn't done anything to warrant getting removed. We then asked to Policemen to retrieve our money in full, which the venue fully obliged.

In conclusion; if you want a night of unprovoked violence objected on you and your friends, then choose Baby Blue Comedy Central, It's appalling! The only bonus is that we were refunded for the displeasure.

Comedy central was a most disappointing night, when eating with them they ask that you arrive by 7 at the latest, in actual fact they don't even open until 7. Once into the cramped and not very inviting venue, the menu is a very poor choice with only a few dishes, and the meal itself leaves a lot to be desired.
The comedy is average, one thing should be noted. Certain comedians invite audience participation and yet really can't handle it. They would be well advised to perfect an act before aspiring to ad-libs with an audience that is funnier than they are. Inexperience shows and is disappointing.
Bar staff are very efficient, front of house, rude and Ill informed.
With so many top notch comedy venues out there, this is one dive my friends and I shall not be visiting again, overpriced, over-rated, over it!

I had my hen do last Friday in Comedy Central and the Blue bar and grill. I had the most perfect evening possible. We had booked the Premier Package with the comedy club so began the evening with a luxury two course meal in the Blue Bar and Grill. The service was fast and efficient with are waiter falling over himself to ensure our needs were met. Once we finished we were escorted down to the comedy club which impressed us from the get go with its ambient lighting and cabaret seating. For two and a half hours myself and 15 friends laughed none stop whilst the 4 varied comedians entertained us in there unique ways. The night did not end there as we made are way back upstairs to the Blue bar and grill we were surprised when we found that a live singer was performing. Which was the icing on the cake for are Fabulous evening. It was definitely the right venue for my hen do, and a night I will never forget.

It's hard to say if this is a bar, a restaurant, a club, it's abit of all three. Spent New Year's here and loved it, really worth the £5 ticket entry, a classy venue and the atmosphere was great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food left alot to be desired and was very over-priced for what it was, £11 for a poor main meal and £5-6 for a slice of chocolate cake that was dry, the portion was no bigger than a jaffa cake, and took 30 minutes to arrive. Really really appalling on that ocassion. Should have sent it back, will never order any food here again.
For a bar alone it's got a good drinks selection and it's not too pricey, but it isn't cheap either. The live music was also pretty good and they do comedy evenings. For location, drinks selection and friendly staff, it's great. However the overpriced and really shockingly disappointing food still brings this down to 3*. With a total overhaul in the kitchen and the cuisine prices, this place would really be a contender in Liverpool, day or night.
