One of the most highly-rated bars in Liverpool’s iconic Albert Dock, Blue Bar is a big hit with Liverpool’s upwardly mobile.

The Venue
Situated in the heart of the Albert Dock, Blue Bar boasts the highest celebrity count in Liverpool. Staying true to the Albert Dock's style, the decor is brick walls, a concrete bar that stretches the length of the room and large glass facades where you can enjoy the view of either the city lights or the Dock's shopping area.

They have cosy sofas scattered stylishly around the venue and the music, an eclectic mix of soul, pop and rock, is at just the right level for either conversation or a little foot shuffle. This is a great place to come with a group of friends or to get to know that someone special.

The People
The minute you walk in you are greeted by a hostess who will either show you the bar or the restaurant upstairs. The staff are friendly and helpful as you choose a drink but although they ask for your order relatively quickly you may have to wait 10 minutes for a cocktail to be made out of sight from your eye.

The Drink
There is a good selection of drinks and prices are in line with the area's reputation. Cocktails go for an average of £6.10, including the delicious Black Forest Martini, a drink that combines Chambord, vodka and chocolate topped with fresh cream. Bottled beers range at about £3.50 and spirits for around £3.00.
