Awful service and awful food which was cold and when complain to the manager was told so what, over aggressive door staff and that was with the women, avoid at all costs!!
had a meal in vinci, food was amazing and the service was great, the staff were all very polite and there was a great vibe. excellent night
Vinci is the place to be in the whole of south Liverpool, it has a cool, relaxing vibe that everyone enjoys. The bar staff are all really friendly and the food was gorgeous especially the tapas it was great! The place seemed packed and has great live music on Sunday night! There is always celebrities In there and I will definitely be returning soon!
great weekend at Vinci! Good food, delicious tapas! Great service from friendly staff & sitting outside enjoying the sunshine! Fantastic!!
This place has gone down the pan. Very sad as I used to come here a lot. Food average, prices higher than they should be and service incredibly slow. Won't be coming back.
Had a fantastic Sunday at Vinci.
A group of 6 friends having Sunday lunch & the live music began. Richie stone really got the place going, everyone was dancing! What a great day that turned into great night! Will be a regular Sunday for me & my friends.
Had the best weekend ever at Vinci, Allerton Rd!
Just called in for lunch with friends, but stayed all day & night. The atmosphere was great as it was Ladies Dat at Aintree. Food was delicious & loved the champagne! We had such a good time we all went back on Saturday & watched the F. A. Cup & Grand National! Staff were really pleasant & friendly & it was packed out. This is definitely the best bar on Allerton Rd!, I have always enjoyed going there, but it really has a new atmosphere!
cannot believe negative reviews of Vinci on allerton rd
I have gone there & always enjoyed it. But now there seems to be a fresh feel to the place. It is always busy & has a lively atmosphere. Valentines night was great, food was delicious, service great & live music made the night. It is a trendy place but still welcoming, friendly staff. Will definitely be there this weekend.
visit Vinci all the time, but it really has a new vibe. Great atmosphere week nights and fab at weekends. Food & service great staff really friendly. Really love the house champagne. Busiests bar on allerton rd. This is the place to be seen.
Booked for husband's 50th birthday on the 10th august 2011. Been on holiday therefore unable to post prior but do not go to Vinci Wine Bar as service is poor and really spoilt my husband's birthday celebration. Upon booking and arrival staff did not state that children had to leave at 9.30pm. Upon arrival I gave staff a birthday cake to bring out after we had finished eating. There were five adults and four children. After finishing our main meals after 9m my husband went to the bar and after serving him at 9.20pm with a round of drinks he was informed that the children had to leave at 9.30pm. My husband was taken back as we had literally just finished our meals and they had just served us with drinks. I spoke to the staff as they were aware that I had gave them a birthday cake which we still had not brought out. The manager stated that maybe they should have told us sooner but the children still had to leave. On my insistence they brought the cake out but did not bring plates or spoons and we had to put the cake back in the box. The manager was abrupt and did not appear sorry. I asked for the manager of Vinci's contact details but was not given his name and told to email the general website.

Group of 40 on 1st floor. Restaurant already knew how many/type of starters and mains. Waited 40 minutes before starters began arriving. Mains were a bit quicker but 1 person did not receive the steak he ordered. Very disappointing evening which was a late Christmas meal and eagerly anticipated. It is a shame this restaurant are unable to manage a group of 40 even when they knew exactly what we wanted to eat.
i went on the saturday before valentines night with my girlfriend...we found that the table situation was bad , the seem to have crammed to many in, we were to close to other couples , the fella on the next table was nearly sitting on my lap..no privacy at all....never again..
i have been to this wine bar in the past but tonight chose to visit there with my son after a meal in the vicintiy.
before i entered i was subjected to ageist rudeness by the security staff, following which we decided to go elsewhere and i will be discussing this with family and friends and suggesting they avoid this establishment.
i thought security was there to protect the environment from problems not create them but the attitude of the security staff person i found offensive and i can only assume that they are probably on the protection register and not be working with children that is obviously their preference.
no im not ancient but in my forties!!
I go here regulary sometimes to eat and sometimes to drink
I have spotted quite a few celebs hanging out here
The food is great and cheap
The staff are always frendly without a doubt the place to be in Allerton
